The Founder of Marcelli Chinagorom Foundation, Dr. Marcelli Chinagorom Oguh, has fulfilled the pledge he made to schools in Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise local government areas recently as he donated about 10, 000 books and sporting materials to enhance learning and promote sporting activities among students in the areas.

Addressing the students and management of Amaorji Ubanukam Town School, Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area, Oguh said his actions were due to his love and passion for education.

He stressed that his foundation had taken it upon itself to ensure that every school in the federal constituency comprising of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte gets the books and sporting materials this month.

Oguh, a United Kingdom-based chartered accountant and philanthropist, stressed that his foundation was poised to ensure that every school and student benefited from his education trust fund.

The trust fund, he stressed, was being managed by the Foundation, maintaining that he would not relent until every child born in the LGA areas gets a quality education.

He described education as the bedrock of every successful community, state and nation, adding, “I have taken it upon myself to see that our children, who have lost hope of acquiring good education due to their family background, regain such hope.

It would be recalled that some school principals, headmasters and headmistress had earlier approached Dr Oguh and appealed to him to assist them to renovate their dilapidated school buildings and donate books and writing materials, which the foundation recently fulfilled.

Mrs. Janet Uwakwem, the headmistress of Amaorji Ubanukam town school, commended Oguh for his timely intervention by donating the books and writing materials, describing him as a blessing to humanity.
