Six out of the ten respondents in a Daily Trust Survey has rejected the idea that Nigeria graduates should go back to school for a year.
It was reported in May that the Minister of State for Education, Anthony Anwukah at a two-day retreat for governing councils of federal universities in Abuja has suggested that graduates should go back to school for an extra year of studies. He further explained that this was being considered because many university graduates were not good enough to be employed by industries.

A total of 336 respondents took part in the survey which closed on the 28th of May 2018 on the Daily Trust website
Sixty percent makes up 201 respondents who said Nigeria graduates should not go back to school for a year.

However, 117 respondents making up 35 per cent agreed with the minister that Nigeria graduates should go back to school, while 18 respondents that made up 5 per cent were “indifferent”.
