The Lagos State University, represented by the duo of Dr. Babafemi Babatope and Dr. Abayomi Bello, both of the Theatre Arts and Music Department has won the British Council Creative Education Skills Grant.

The duo emerged victorious in a keenly contested project which involved seven United Kingdom higher institutions and seven Lagos State based Parastatals and higher institution. The programme was held on the 31st of August, 2017 at the Asia-America Room, Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Dr #Babafemi Babatope and Dr #Abayomi Bello by this achievement are the winners of the prestigious grant for cultural exchange creative education skill programme between University of Portsmouth and Lagos State University.

The duo will represent the Lagos State University at the Creative Education Skills Workshop at the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom in June this year.

Congratulations to the duo, the Theatre Arts and Music Department, Faculty of Arts and Lagos State University as a whole.
