Five Nigerian students of CEDEC International Secondary School in Lagos will be presented with British International Education Association (BIEA) Award in London today (Tuesday).

The award followed the teenagers' success in the Youth Innovation Competition aimed at engaging young students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) which took place in London in July this year.

The students, three boys and two girls aged 15-17 years bagged the Best Participation Award with their conservation and drone project which focused on using drones to protect the African wild dog and other endanger animals in the continent.

Students from 34 countries took part in the competition which is sponsored by BIEA, and supported by Born Free Foundation, United Kingdom.
