NEYMAR will stay at Paris Saint-Germain after the club failed to agree a deal with Barcelona, according to reports.

The Catalan giants were hopeful of completing a deal worth up to £236million before the deadline on September 2.

That move included £182m in cash plus Ivan Rakitic, Jean-Clair Todibo, as well as Ousmane Dembele on a season-long loan.

But the deal remained hugely complicated with speculation that Dembele had no desire to spend the year in Paris with the French giants.

And according to Sky Sports, PSG have pulled the plug on any move after Neymar agreed to “fulfil the remainder of his contract and commitments

Last night PSG sporting director Leonardo hinted that a move had hit a snag because the terms “didn’t suit” them.

He said: “Our position on a potential departure of Neymar is clear, everyone knows what we want.
“We got a first written offer on 27 August and we refused it, the conditions didn’t suit us.

“There are three days until the end of the transfer window, and for the moment, there is no agreement.

Neymar will now jet to Miami tomorrow where he will meet up with his international team-mates ahead of Brazil’s clashes against Colombia and Peru.

The 27-year-old has yet to feature for PSG this season having left him out while his future remained unresolved.

But with a Champions League clash against Real Madrid to look forward to on his return from international duty, boss Thomas Tuchel is ready to throw him back into the mix.
