Experts in the education sector have urged pupils to be time-conscious, saying proper time management is imperative to achieving life goals.
Speaking at the 24th graduation and awards ceremony of Babcock University High School, Ilishan–Remo, Ogun state. Dean, Veronica Adeleke School of Social Sciences, Babcock University, Dr Jumoke Yacob-Haliso enjoined the pupils to give priority attention to learning, pointing out that they will be the beneficiaries at the long run.

She said; “This is the period to chase dreams as a time would come when you will be too weak to do so. Tell yourselves every time you wake up in the morning that you must outrun failure and laziness. Set out what you want to do and go forth to achieve them.
Yacob-Haliso urged the children to be time cautious and use their strengths and weaknesses as guidance toward the future.

Principal, Babcock University High School, Dr. Bolanle Adebawojo said the pupils are among the lucky ones to benefit from holistic education as they have been well equipped for future challenges.“The future is where you will spend most of your lives. The real power of creating and being responsible for your own future is unlimited.

There will be challenges ahead, especially when you are determined to succeed. My advice therefore to you is to make the right choices. Put all your energy, talent and time into every opportunity that comes your way,” she said.

Vice chancellor, Babcock University, Prof. Ademola Tayo lauded the principal and teachers for their efforts, while also commending parents for their investments on the children as well as the faith they had in the school.Prof Tayo said the main purpose of education is to bring to limelight, the value of God in man.

He urged the graduating pupils to be courageous in doing what is right and flee from imitating the crowd. “Wherever you go, have a level of decorum,” he added.Awards were given to best students in each subject and overall best student of the class.
