1. Mauritius
Mauritius is unarguably seen as the safest places to visit in Africa. There is absolutely very little to no security challenges to worry about. Mauritius is widely known for its multiculturalism. This country has been very peaceful over the past decades.

2. Rwanda
Rwanda is a landlocked country in east central Africa bordered by Tanzania, Burundi, Uganda, Lake Kivu, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Despite losing quarter of its population to the 1994 genocide—Rwanda is one of the best places to visit in Africa.

3. Botswana
Botswana is one of the wealthiest country in Africa—thanks to its abundance Diamonds and other minerals deposits. Since gaining independent from Britain in 1966, the country has seen a steady and phenomenal economic growths; hence, becoming one of the safe places to visit in Africa.

4. Namibia
Namibia has a very small population of a little over 2 million people—according to the world bank. Much like its neighbor (Botswana) in the Southern part of Africa, Namibia enjoys a steady-growing economy over the past few decades. Hence, there is little to no security concerns in the country.
