Working out has a lot of health benefits to an individual. However, excessive work out has a number of side effects to the human body. Sometimes, extreme workouts can lead to a serious heart condition. It always advisable to seek the assistance of a professional trainer before any workout. Extreme work out has the following effects on the human body.
Heart condition. The heart plays an important role when it comes to working out. In the event of extreme work out the a lot of stress is placed on the heart putting a lot of demands on the cardiovascular system. This can be risky for individuals who have underlying problems such as coronary heart disease and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
A lot of work out can lead to obsession with exercise. Obsession with exercise can cause an individual’s body to become burn out and therefore increasing risk of injury. This may lead to an individual spending too much time in the gym, and as said exercise should be part of your life and not your life. Therefore this can lead to your body burning out accompanied by injuries such as pulled muscles, fractures and dislocations. To avoid such injuries exercise with limits of your abilities.
Work out can also lead to an individual having a weakened immune system. When an individual does a lot of exercise the body does not get good enough rest. Since the body normally rejuvenates itself when a sleep and too much work out denies the body this rejuvenation process. Therefore these leads to an individual being prone to headaches and coughs and other major serious sickness.
