The dangers of insecticides have become a topic of discussion on social media in recent times.
A social media user identified as Dr Nonso on Twitter has recounted how a young child died due to carelessness with a strong insecticide.
According to him, a mother had applied sniper on her son’s dreads to kill his hair lice but this led to his death instead.
He further explained that some insecticides penetrate through the skin and are highly dangerous.
This very sad tale led to several social media users sharing their opinions on the subject. A few of them narrated their experiences with insecticides while others slammed the ignorance of the child's mother.
