A large saltwater crocodile was spotted in a drain at Sungei Kadut on Friday morning (June 21).
In response to a Stomp query, the National Parks Board (NParks) said it was alerted to the sighting of the Estuarine crocodile at 8.20am.
Several Stompers alerted Stomp to a video showing the reptile lying in the drain as passers-by and workers looked on.
A circulated photo also shows the crocodile on a pavement after being secured.
Mr How Choon Beng, director of wildlife management at NParks, told Stomp in a statement: "NParks officers worked with our trained contractors to secure the crocodile.
"It has since been translocated to a crocodile farm."
Members of the public who encounter a crocodile are advised to stay calm and back away slowly.
"They should not approach, provoke, or feed the animal," added Mr How.
