Bayero University on Tuesday, 11th June, 2019, graduated a total of 2,325 candidates from seven faculties on the second day of 35th Convocation Ceremonies.

The faculties are Arts and Islamic Studies, Allied Health Sciences, Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Dentistry, Social Sciences and School of Continuing Education.

The Deans of the faculties, Professor I.K Abdulsalam(FAIS), Dr. Abdullahi (Allied Health Sciences),Dr. M.A Salim (Basic Medical Sciences), Professor Mahmud Umar Sani (Clinical Sciences), Professor R.A Adebola (Dentistry), Dr. Nu’uman Habib (Social Sciences) and Dr. Lawan Malumfashi presented graduands from their faculties for handshakes with the Vice Chancellor.

“Distinguished guests, staggering Bayero University’s Convocation ceremony to span over a period of days as against the usual one-day affair has become institutionalised. The reason for staggering the Convocation ceremony is to give individual attention to each graduand, because each of them is indeed special to us. Today marks the second day of four days of activities aimed at appreciating, celebrating and savouring the joy that being triumphant brings,” said the Vice Chancellor, Professor Muhammad Yahuza Bello.

The distribution of the graduands shows that out of the 2,325, 15 graduated with 1st Class, 536, Second Class Upper; 1,190, Second Class Lower; 279 3rd Class; 12, Pass and 293, Unclassified.
