The Vice Chancellor of the Lagos State
University (LASU), Prof. Olanrewaju
Fagbohun, has warned the newly
matriculated 5,500 students of the
institution against hooliganism, cultism,
drug abuse and all forms of violence.

Prof. Fagbohun who gave the warning
during the 2018/2019 matriculation, said
over 42,000 applied for various courses
and that they were the lucky ones.

He, therefore, encouraged them to engage
in productive activities and abide by the
values and principles of the institution.

“The institution propels her students to
pursue their dreams provided you abide
by the values and principles of our
institution. You will get to realise as you
progress in your studies that LASU is
synonymous with academic innovations,
cutting edge research and academically
active students,” he said.
