Since the introduction of Computer Based Test (CBT) for writing Examinations especially schools post UTME examination, JAMB Examination and Aptitude Tests, it has made examination to be very fast. Most at times is frustrating and annoying as the regulated time makes lots of students or persons not to finish before their time expires. This article will give you possible tips to tackle this issue.

Speed and accuracy is the main thing needed for CBT examination. With this you can achieve any mark or score you wish to get.

Locating your Exam Venue on time will help you to settle down well, master the environment and get relaxed before the Post UTME or Aptitude Test Examination starts. Get there on time and probably you might get some information from predecessors or other students. When you arrive very late you will be tensed as you may think you have missed the examination already. As we all know “Time is the sole of business” so is it in terms of Post UTME Examination and Aptitude Test.

I know you know how to operate computer, but this time around try practicing it online and work on your Speed. Speed matters a lot. Many know what to do but there is no enough time to access it. If for instance, 30 minutes is allocated for 40 questions, divide your 30 minutes by 40, you will see you are having 45 seconds for each question. Spend less time in non-calculating subjects to enable you use the time for calculating subjects. Time matters a lot. Don’t leave any question unanswered, even if you don’t know it, tick something. You can come back and change it if time permits.

Accuracy and speed helps one to get a perfect score. In as much as you try to be very fast, tick the correct ones. There are some questions you don’t have to look twice before you answer them. Don’t spend time much on the questions you don’t know much but select something. Also, tick rightly to enable you get a better result.

Before the day of your exam, study and practice how to manage your time. Practice some CBT questions online and learn how to manage your limited time. Practice it as many times as possible so that it will be part of you.
