The Senate of Al-Qalam University, Katsina, Katsina State, has called on its students and members of staff to resume academic activities on Monday, October 19.
It also fixed October 26 as the commencement of first semester examinations.
The Senate, at a meeting held on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, assured that COVID-19 safety protocols would be strictly enforced.
It pointed out that students are to maintain physical distancing during lectures, and wear facemasks, while large classes would be divided.
The university added that the first week of resumption would be for revision and continuous assessment tests.
