The Proprietor of Chloeville Schools, Agege Lagos, Mrs Victoria Ajibola, has urged parents to pay closer attention to the kind of people they release their kids to avoid making them victims of sexual predators.

Ajibola said sexual predators are on the prowl everywhere, stressing that some of the familiar people to children were sometimes ‘wolves in sheep clothing.’

Speaking in an interview with our correspondent in Lagos on Thursday, Ajibola said parents should investigate and know details about those whose parents release their children to.

She said, “Some parents just engage the services of commercial motorcyclists or tricycles riders they really do not know and ask them to be transporting their children to and from school every day.

“I know that the situation of the country is not making many parents no to have enough time for their kids but we all have to be more careful. There are devils in human forms everywhere now and this is alarming. Parents should know very well who they engage as domestic workers, drivers, okada riders and so on.

“School should also be vigilant and investigate the teachers they engage and other workers in their schools. Parents should also always observe their little kids and make themselves approachable to their kids so that they will not suffer in silence.”

Ajibola stated further that parents should also pay attention to the academic works of their children and to assist their kids in getting their homework done.

She said this would prepare such pupils better ahead of class.
