The hormonal imbalance can be a serious problem, that’s why it
is important to be aware of its signs and causes. The most common causes of unbalanced hormones include polycystic ovary syndrome, diabetes, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, tumors, cushing syndrome, adrenal insufficiency, trauma or some medications.

6 Signs of Hormone Imbalance You Are Not Aware Of

It is important for every woman to know how to recognize the signs of a hormonal imbalance. If you notice some of the symptoms mentioned below, consult your doctor immediately.

1. Unusual food cravings
Your sudden cravings for something sweet or salty might be a sign of hormonal imbalance. If you have increased appetite, it means your body produces extra ghrelin, a hormone that is stimulating your appetite. When this hormone is out of balance, it makes you feel hungry most of the time.

2. Problematic skin
If you have a problematic skin, such as dry skin, acne, or painful cysts, it might be a sign of a hormonal imbalance in your body. This means that your body is producing excess testosterone, which can cause oily skin and result with clogged pores and cystic acne.

3. Chronic Headaches
If you experience severe headaches and migraines, and if this is drop.

4. Digestive problems
When your hormones change, it can cause our digestive problems such as diarrhea, constipation, gas, bloating, cramps and stomach pain. If you notice some unusual changes in your digestive system consult your doctor as soon as possible.

5. Unexplained weight gain
If you can explain why you’re gaining weight, and you are physical active all the time or exercising regularly, you should make an appointment with your doctor. You could be suffering from serious health conditions such as polycystic ovary disease, diabetes or a thyroid problem.

6. Insomnia
Estrogen and progesterone are important hormones for your sleep cycle. If your body isn’t releasing enough progesterone, you’ll have problems to fall asleep. This means your body is dealing with a hormonal imbalance.
