The Isiaka Oluwa, Blue House has emerged winner of the maiden Inter-House Athletic Competition of the Lagos State University International School (LASUIS) winning 17 gold, 9 silver and 6 bronze medals.

In the second place was Omotayo Seriki, Wine House, winning 16 gold, 9 silver and 8 bronze medals.

In his address at the event that took place at the University’s Sports Centre recently, the Chief Host and Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Lanre Fagbohun (SAN) congratulated the staff and students of the International School on the great feat achieved in the sports arena.

The University Registrar, Olayinka Amuni, and University Bursar, Babatunde Olayinka also accompanied the VC to witness the historic occasion.

The highlight of the event was the participation of 12 secondary schools in the invited school relay race.

The invited schools are Wemby’s College Idimu, Hallmark College, Ijanikin; Blazers Schools Egbeda, Idimu; Federal Government College, Ijanikin and The Pilgrims College, Akesan.

Others are AOCOED, International School, Ijanikin; Beulah Comprehensive College, Morogbo; Millbank School, Iba, Lagos; I-QRAN School and Anglican Girls College, Ijanikin.
