The management of Koladaisi University, Ibadan has said it reduced tuition fees and offers scholarships to indigent students to make higher education accessible and affordable.

The institution also said the reduction in tuition fees across board for the students of the school was as a result of an opinion poll carried out during the admission outreaches held across the country which suggested reduction in tuition fees.

The vice chancellor, Professor Kolade Luke Ayorinde, who stated this at a press conference in Ibadan, said the core vision of the institution was to produce employers rather than job seekers.

“The founder of the institution has approved the reduction of the fees by all categories of students in the current session by at least N50,000 for all 143 students of the institution,” he said.

He further stated that the institution has students from the 36 states of federation, adding that its mission is to nurture graduates with competencies to transform the country.

Ayorinde noted that the university was liaising with the National Universities Commission to seek approval of more programmes for national development.
