According to #ASUUNGR, the Union will review the decisions based on the new commitment by the FG.

Some of the commitments are;
Release of N15.4bn to cover funding in Public Universities;
Approved N20bn to offset the 2009 - 2012 Audit verified earnings.

Remember the purpose of 2018 ASUUNGR strike was to demand the remaining N1.1trn Public Universities Revitalization Fund.
With FG agreeing to release N15.4bn Salary Shortfalls, the released amount is now 18% of 2009 Agreement.

Is the continuous #AsuuStrike a working solution?

Though We welcome this initiative by ASUUNGR to engage the GENERAL Public in your Decision Making Process.

We urge ASUUNGR to continuously engage CITIZENS as the FG-Negotiation Process CONTINUES and consider students whose Academic Studies are usually truncated. #EndAsuuStrike
