- A University of Calabar student reportedly stole from an 85-year-old woman who sponsored his education - The undergraduate reportedly stole jewelries worth over N25 million.

He also admitted to buying a land and building his own house with the money - The culprit has been begging for forgiveness but the kindhearted woman is in shock and unsure of what to do Some individuals are blessed with empathy and they do not hesitate to help others in need.

However, a number of people have fallen victim of misfortune after rendering help. Legit.ng has gathered the report of a university student who stole from his benefactor after she took him in when he had nothing.

According to a Twitter user, Philip Obin (@PhilipObin), an 85-year-old woman close to him was swindled by a student whom she took into her home for two years. He explained that the young man was about to drop out of school due to lack of funds but the kindhearted woman took him in as her own, fed him and paid his fees.

However, instead of repaying her with gratitude and kindness, he sold all her jewelries worth over N25 million.

Phillip further revealed that when the culprit was arrested by the police, he admitted to the crime and explained that he had bought a land where he was already building his own house.

After admitting his guilt, the young man has since been begging his sponsor for forgiveness but the woman has been in shock and unsure of how to act.

Don not get stuck at the well of argument. Let God be your vindicator. Let Him fight your battles. He will vindicate you better than you can vindicate yourself.
