A 400-level English Studies student at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Rachel Fadugba, and a 200-level Science Laboratory Technology student of the University of Calabar, Cross River State, Oluwaseun Adeyemo have been rewarded scholarships worth N250,000 for participating in the HP and Jumia School Resumption Campaign.

At the award ceremony held at Jumia’s corporate office in Ogba, Lagos, on Friday, the Head of Engagement Marketing, Jumia Nigeria, Olamide Amosu, said the scholarship was also a part of the company’s corporate social responsibility.

Amosu said, “For a student to qualify they must have purchased something worth a minimum of N10,500 from the HP dedicated store on Jumia. The campaign was opened for students alone and winners were selected via a transparent lottery.”

Also, the Retail and Online Sales Manager, HP, Central Africa, Mr Tolulope Lawani said the initiative was to encourage indigent students, as well as to give back to the society.

Other winners were MonsuratHamzat from Al-Mumin Schools, Agbado-Ijaiye and AdunnaKosoko from De-expert private Collage, Jankara, IjaiyeOjokoro, Lagos.

Don not get stuck at the well of argument. Let God be your vindicator. Let Him fight your battles. He will vindicate you better than you can vindicate yourself.
