Love is a beautiful thing. Many people aspire to be in love. However, we have a group of people who don't have intentions of falling in love due to some reasons.

Maybe they were hurt before and they don't want to undergo the same trauma. According to Morgan Miller, a relationship expert, one can avoid falling in love if they observe the following steps.

Find a distraction. Find something to keep your mind busy so that you don't think about the other person. It is hard but it is very doable. Find distractions especially during that moment you feel lonely or idle. Look for new activities to engage in.

Avoid stalking. Stalking can be satisfying since you are aware of this person latest happening in their private lives. If you keep stalking this person, the chances of them tormenting your mind will increase.

Avoid being too friendly. Long conversations are part of being extra friendly. Avoid sharing more personal details with this person during late night phone calls. The friendlier you get, the more you fall in love.

Be honest. Tell the person you are falling for them and you like them in the event that all steps don't materialize. Ask the person to help you get over them. Deploy the no contact rule and ensure that you don't meet frequently.
