Have you tried but things seem not to work? The success of any relationship is dependent on the effort of each of the partners. A relationship where only one of the partners is trying to make things work rarely succeeds. According to powerofpositivity.com, these are four signs you’re giving too much in a relationship

1. He or she doesn't show empathy

Love requires that your partner should feel the way you do. Empathy means he or she should put himself or herself into your shoes. The person should also understand the way you feel when things are not working in your favor. Lack of empathy can kill love in the shortest period you can imagine.

2. He or she knows everything

Does he or she seem to know everything? A partner who does not want to listen to your advice is hard to deal with. He or she forces you to go an extra mile to make things work. If you are sacrificing too much then it is time to think twice over the same.

3. He or she is not there when you need help

You are definitely giving too much if he or she is not there any time you need assistance. It simply means you doing everything on your own. A healthy relationship is where both partners put their effort together.

4. You always initiate communication

Are you always initiating communication? A person who truly loves you will not wait for you to initiate communication all the time. He or she should also start a conversation even once in a while.
