I was Cycling this morning and I noticed a person about half a km ahead.

I could guess he was Cycling a little slower than me and that made me feel good,
I said to myself I will try catch up with him.

So I started Cycling faster and faster. Every block, I was gaining on him a little bit.
After just a few minutes I was only about 100 feet behind him,
so I really picked up the pace and pushed myself.
I was determined to catch up with him.

Finally, I did it! I caught up and passed him. Inwardly I felt very good. "I beat him".

Of course, he didn't even know we were racing.

After I passed him,
I realized I had been so focused on competing against him that
I had missed my turn to my house .

I had missed the focus on my inner peace,
I missed to see the beauty of greenery around,
I missed to do my inner soul searching meditation,
and in the needless hurry feet slipped from the paddle twice or thrice and might have hit the sidewalk and broken a limb.

It then dawned on me, isn't that what happens in life when we focus on competing with
co-workers, neighbours,
friends,
family,
trying to outdo them
or trying to prove that we are more successful
or more important and in the bargain
we miss on our happiness within our own surroundings?

We spend our time and energy running after them and we miss out on our own paths to our given destination.

The problem with unhealthy competition is that it's a never ending cycle.

There will always be somebody ahead of you,
someone with a better job,
nicer car,
more money in the bank,
more education,
a prettier wife,
a more handsome husband,
better behaved children,
better circumstances and
better conditions etc.

But one important realisation is that 'You can be the best that you can be, when you are not competing with anyone.'

Some people are insecure because they pay too much attention to
what others are,
where others are going,
wearing and driving, what others are talking.

Take whatever you have,
the height, the weight and personality. Accept it and realize, that you are blessed. Stay focused and live a healthy life.

There is no competition in Destiny. Each has his own.

Comparison AND Competition is the thief of JOY.
It kills the Joy of Living your Own Life.

Run your own Race that leads to Peaceful, Happy Steady Life.

✔️✔️ Accept and agree

???? Before an infinitive, use ‘agree’, not ‘accept’.

▪️ She agreed to come. (NOT She accepted to come.)

???? You cannot put a that-clause immediately after agree or disagree. For example, you cannot write ‘I agree that smoking should be banned.’ Instead, you have to write ‘I agree with the view / opinion / argument that smoking should be banned’.

Examples:

▪️I disagree with your opinion that cars should not be allowed in city centres.

▪️Do you agree with the statement that education should be free for all?

Determine to fulfill your dreams.

You have what it takes. Yes! You have it. Don't let anybody stop you. Don’t let fear hold you down. Don't delight in procrastination.

Whatever your dream is, take concrete, determined and deliberate steps to actualise it.

If you really want to achieve that dream, you must be intentional about it. It won't just fall in your lap. You must work on it.

Do something everyday that draws you a little closer to your dream.

If you stay focused, committed and true to it enough, you will surely make it to become a reality.

You can do it. I BELIEVE IN YOU!

Stop accepting the term lucky.

Did you know that when you do accept it, you are actually saying that you don’t really deserve it or not good enough for it!

You were just randomly chosen.. not true! No one rolls into success or fulfillment by accident. It’s all intentional.

Every second, every moment, every hour, every day, every week, every month and every year. No days off! It’s a mindset.

Excuse those who blather and give you an excuse because they can’t see the reason why you have come this far and are heading much further.

Luck is when tenacity goes head to head with intention! The collision is the impact you will have in this world when you claim that personal space regardless of how many failures you may encounter.

Don’t let people undermine your ability to achieve the greatest of things. You were born to win.

Believe the Champion in You!

STOP BLAMING OTHERS-BRIAN TRACY

In most part of our life, we are habituated to blame others for our disappointment, failures, negative things, etc. But BLAMING is a part of negative emotion. How to overcome this? Let's see.

HOW DO WE STOP BLAMING?

This is the breakthrough discovery. It is both simple and effective. It works 100% of the time. It transforms your mind from negative to positive, sometimes in a few seconds. Here it is: say the words,
"I AM RESPONSIBLE!"
whenever you feel angry or upset about anyone or anything. The words "I am responsible" are great neutralizes just like when you pull the lamp cord out of the socket and the lamp goes out, when you say "I AM RESPONSIBLE", your negative emotions switch off and go out instantly.

You cannot say "I AM RESPONSIBLE" and be angry, worried or scared at the same time. The words enable you to take complete charge of your life, turning you from a victim into a victor. They take you from feeling weak and insecure to feeling strong and self-reliant.

If you don’t know what you want, don’t say you never had a chance.

The people who complain the loudest about never having an opportunity in life are usually the ones who always have a ready excuse for their failures. Nothing is ever their fault; they are victims of their heritage, their environment, insufficient education, or any number of other factors that they perceive as placing them at a disadvantage. If you look hard enough, you can always find reasons for not attempting something or not sticking with the job to the end. Successful people, though, are not excuse-makers. They take responsibility for their actions, they set goals, and they assume responsibility for their achievement. Where others see despair, they see hope. They approach every situation with enthusiasm, confident in the knowledge that nothing is impossible for those who have a Positive Mental Attitude.

No one is so good that he has no bad in him, and no one is so bad that he has no good in him.

We human beings are a complex lot. Many religious writings and great literary works are based upon the constant struggle between good and evil that goes on inside every one of us. This struggle is as old as mankind itself. Yet, while we recognize our own inner struggles, we are often quick to condemn others. Psychologists tell us that there is no such thing as a bad person; there are only bad behaviors. Make it a point to look for the good in yourself — and in others. Nurture the good character traits and work on the ones that may need improvement. Like plants in a garden, the character traits that grow strong and productive will be those that are fed, watered, and weeded regularly.
